Life In Stanzas

A Poet poetically poignant pointedly parlaying with peers, proud people probably would pronounce him Prince proving prosperity provides protection from Perversion, Poverty, Pettiness. The Pedagogue Pedigree...Or something like that.

25 Albums in 25 Days-Day 2

Before he was Kanye’s bitch in their album selling contest, before Cam’Ron was callin him Cuuurrrrrrrtissssssss, and before he sported the “Bobby Valentino” look… 50 was the Man! Who didn’t have this album? This album was dear to me because this was the first unedited CD I ever got! lol. Of course, my mom thought I was just listenin to the radio late at night but when she left it was “G-UNIT! WHOA! WE IN HERE! WHOA! WE CAN GET THE DRAMA POPPIN WE DONT CARE! WHOA WHOA WHOA!” One of Hip-Hop classic albums, and certainly one of the most popular albums of all time, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ is/was necessary for everyone who wanted to know who was the cat who got shot 9 times….and didnt shoot back. ha!

25 Albums in 25 Days-Day 1

Had to start off the series with my VERY FIRST album I ever got! Maaaaaaaaan, I was about 10 years old when this first came out. God bless my momma for gettin me this! Definitely made me love Outkast, and start creating my own taste in music. The album was maaad funky with the alternating topics between Big Boi and 3 Stacks, it was like the Player and the Poet. It works as well as any Outkast album, and I played the SHIT outta this one.

Favorite Tracks:

-So Fresh, So Clean

-I’ll Call Before I Come

-B.O.B

-Ms Jackson

-We Luv Deez Hoes

-Toilet Tisha (dont let the title fool you, shit was real)

Starting today, Im going to be doing a little series called “25 Albums in 25 Days”. Just basically taking the most influential albums, not necessarily the BEST but the ones that affected me some kind of way. Hope yall enjoy it
